Landmark Norfolks reside on five acres of woods and meadowland twenty miles southwest of Portland, Oregon.

Each of the dogs get regular and individual attention and health care, socialization, training, grooming and affection.  All of my Norfolks are part of my family, being loved and frequently taken on trips and outings. They also have the opportunity to run free (under supervision) on several acres of securely fenced woodland daily.

Our Beginnings

Ch. Yarrow‘s Jasmine

I acquired"Jessie" in 1986 from Beth Sweigart, to whom I will be eternally grateful for agreeing to let me have this incredible girl who was the light of my life and my joy for over 11 years. Jessie was my constant companion and friend, and she changed my life completely.

Ch.Chidley Magic Marker

"Mark," joined us in 1987, due to the generosity of Helen Brann. I named my breeding operation Landmark when I "landed" Mark, a landmark moment!  Mark was the top winning and top producing Norfolk Terrier in 1984 and 1985.

Joan Read was the angel behind the scene in helping me acquire these great Norfolks I began with.

She was the guiding force in the early years of Landmark Norfolks. She helped me as she did many others, and to me she will always be the great mother of Norfolk Terriers.

Mark and Jessie presented me with my first Norfolk litter in 1988.......all three pups later went on to become champions. Their grandson, Ch. Landmark Briarpatch, went on to become a top winning Norfolk in his day.

Ch. Guestlings Cherub,

In 1990 I went to Sweden to visit Susann Bjorkfall and her wonderful Guestling Norfolks.  I was fortunate to bring home this BISS winner who contributed greatly to the soundness and structure I wanted in my line.   Later that year Barbara Pierce loaned me her English imported bitch, Ch.Osmor Briar Rose. ...and another famous three champion litter was born in 1991.

Ch. Landmark Almost An Angel

Buster, went on to win in groups and BIS at the ANTA Match. He spent his life with my friend Ronda...and was a happy boy. He passed away on Nov. 10, 2002 and is greatly missed by all of us.

Ch. Landmark Likely An Angel

was a great show girl, took a significant number of Best of Breeds.

“Laika” went to live with my friends Laurie and Rick when she was 4, and was a active part of their lives. She left this world with her brother, several hours later on Nov. 10, 2002. We take comfort that they are together.

Ch. Landmark Sometimes An Angel ROM

made history in the whelping box. She loved having puppies and was the most engaging mother. Eight of her offspring went on to become champions...two have obedience degrees. “Seikan” spent her life with me, raising puppies, hers, and grandmothering many others.
